Hi, my name is Patricia Kerigan and I have a strong spirit of service and passion for mental health. This is a second career for me as I have worked in the United States Marine Corps for 19 years where I was a drill instructor and one of the first 25 women in the Marine Corps Band. 

I am also an ordained minister involved in several missionary trips to South America and can provide spiritual counseling when requested. Due to my background, I have a strong interest in serving veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, grief, but also couples, eating disorders, autism, depression, anxiety, and more.

My experience in mental health includes working with individuals, civic organizations, and also large groups in therapy, education, development, and evaluation of mental health programs. My passion is to be the voice of hope for those who have experienced a loss of their own and teach them how to cope in a healthy way. 

I am a very highly positive and motivated individual always thriving to learn more in my field of expertise and beyond. I offer for counseling a wide range of modalities depending on your needs such as CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Person-Centered, Solution Focused…

Because of my personal background, being from parents of different origins, and my ministry work, I am well-versed in helping individuals from multicultural backgrounds and I also speak Spanish and Russian.  During my long career in the Marine Corps, I have also taught English in Korea and Japan.

Favorite Pastime: Baking, gardening, Slavic embroidery, ancient history specifically Military War History, my first edition collection of children’s books, spending time with friends, travelling- I have gone to over 41 country and have recently added Mexico to the list.
